Obituary
Anna Jadwiga Nowak (nee Kurylowicz) passed into the arms of the Lord on May 17, 2017 at her home in Edmonton at the age of 61.
Anna was the beloved wife of Jerzy “George” Nowak. She also leaves behind her devoted daughter Catherine, her mother Aleksandra Kurlyowicz, mother-in-law Leokadia Nowak Klos, brother Kazimierz
“Casey” (Helena Pucyznska) Paul, Daniel and Michael, brother Stefan (Mary Korbiak) Jonathan, Stefan Jr., brother-in-law Tadeusz “Ted” (Lucia Minotti), niece Vanessa (Christopher Oliver) Shelby, sister-in-law Krystyna (Edward) Sliz, Elizabeth, Diane, Paul as well as extended family and friends.
Visitation at Jasko Moshonas and Quimet Inc. Funeral Home (693 Rue Jean-Talon West Montreal Quebec H3N 1S1) on Thursday May 25, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church (2550 Avenue Gascon, Montreal) on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Notre Dame Cote des Neiges). We will celebrate Anna’s life at a reception at Jan Paderewski Polish Hall, 3563 Belair and 15the Ave., St. Michel directly after interment.
A Memorial Mass will be held in Edmonton at Holy Rosary Parish 11485 – 106 St NW, Edmonton, Alberta on June 6, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
