Clyde Wry
1949-2017
REXTON, NB – Clyde Wry 68, formerly of Clairville,
passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University
Hospital Center in Moncton on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. Born in
Harcourt, he was the son of the late Arthur Wry and late Maude
(Shirley) Wry. Before retiring, Clyde was employed at
Lounsbury’s in the Truck Division. He also was the
owner of Rexton Auto and Recreation.
Clyde will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 44 years
Myrna (Ferguson) Wry of Rexton; two daughters, Marcie Roberts (Mike)
of Main River, Tanya Wry of Rexton; three grandchildren, Mason, Emma,
Kashton and his fur baby Haley.
Clyde is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Beers (Cecil),
Lorraine Scott (John) both of Harcourt; one brother, Robert Wry
(Carol) of Cocagne Cape; sister-in-law, Margie (Allie Reid) of
Clairville and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters,
Betty Butler (Murdock), Beulah Castillioux (late Ernest) Madeline
Chaters (late Cecil) and one brother, Harry Wry (late
Betty).
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A
funeral service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM,
Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto.
Donations in Clyde’s memory may be made to St.
Matthew’s United Church Cemetery Fund or to the charity of
the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home (523-4252).
