The family announces with great sorrow the passing of Mario Torlone on Wednesday April 26, 2017 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving wife Anna of 57 years, his sister Concetta of Italy, his nephew Luciano (Lorena) of Italy, his nephew Stefano of USA, his niece Lisa from London ON, his niece Rina Torlone, his cousin Frank Torlone (Donna) and his family John, Susan, Treva and Lori. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Lucia, his nephews Fernando (Katia) and Carlo Francesco, as well as his niece Patrizia, all of Italy.
Mario was a former employee of Texas Gulf and a longtime member of the Porcupine Dante Club. A special thanks to Dr. Ciccone, the Timmins and District Hospital staff as well as some close friends for their care and compassion.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday May 1st, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at
