Charron, Sarah Margaret (née McLean) (1925-2017)
It is with great sadness that we announce Sarah’s (fondly known as Sally) passing on April 11th 2017. Dearly loved by her children Paulyne (Pierre Lelievre), Jo-Ann (Jim Peterson), Lynn (Robert Fournier), Marc and Norman (Colette). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Patrick, Erik, Tanya, Austin, Robert, Myles, Chrys, Bryan, Michelle, Kaitlyn, Daniel and Roch; her great-grandchildren Alyssa, Corey, Logan, Leland, Taylor, Kristopher, Justin, Jesse and James as well as by her great great-grandchild Kyra Rose.
Pre-deceased by her husband George (2008) and by her parents Daniel A. McLean and Christina Cameron of Cape Breton and by her brother John Joe McLean (Edna), sisters Mellie Boutilier (Weldon) and Mary Brodie (John). Sarah will remain in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews as well as her surviving in-laws Rita (Emile), Laurette (Roland Lalonde), Donat Charron (Marie Rose), Rene Charron (Eliane).
She also leaves her long time good friend Bernice Bedard. Sarah leaves a legacy of love and beautiful memories of all who shared her life. Her deep roots to her Cape Breton home remained throughout her life.
A celebration of her life and funeral will take place at the Théoret Bourgeois funeral home, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, May 6th 2017 at 1:30 p.m. The family would like to thank everyone who cared for her and helped with her transition to her new life. She is now shining down on all of us. Donations in Sarah’s honor to The West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (Pavillon) would be greatly appreciated. (Cheques only)
