A celebration of Joslyn’s life will be held at the Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbor on the Siksika Nation. An All – Night Wake Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 and the Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, February 4, 2017. Graveside Service to follow at the Paul Little Walker cemetery with a feast to follow at the Gordon Yellow Fly Memorial Arbor.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Joslyn Dora-Marie Big Sorrel Horse. Joslyn was called home by our Creator on January 28, 2017 at the age of 25 years young. Joslyn was a strong, courageous and fearless young woman. She had a true appreciation and respect for the traditional way of life. She loved spending her time with friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Allan Crowchild, daughter Tianna Crowchild, Father Robert Big Sorrel Horse JR; Sisters Cherida Tailfeathers (Shane), Shyann, Summer, Serenity Big Sorrel Horse; Brothers Riley, Joshua and Braden Big Sorrel Horse and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Dora Big Sorrel Horse, maternal grandmother Loretta Tailfeathers, mother and step-father Maryann Big Sorrel Horse and Bronco Blackhorse, and her baby boy Izaiyah Crowchild.
