LINTON: RICHARD ALEXANDER (1926-2017)
Mr. Richard Alexander Linton, 90 years, of Castalia, Grand Manan, NB,
passed away peacefully at the Grand Manan Nursing Home on Wednesday
February 22, 2017. Richard was the son of the late Reginald and Agnes
(Filmore) Linton of Castalia. He is survived by his children Alva Lee,
Manitoba; Patricia Ann, Castalia; Timothy (Marion), Woodwards Cove;
Sandy (Carla), St. Andrews; Fulton (Sharlene), Castalia; Bruce, Saint
John and Beth, Castalia. Richard is also survived by his two brothers,
Arnold (Wanda) Castalia, Robert (Jaqueline), Castalia, his life
partner, Joanne Robinson, North Head, also twenty three grandchildren
and twenty six great grandchildren.
Mr. Linton was predeceased by his wife, Beryl
(MacAloney) Linton and three sons, Richard, David and
Daniel.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at North Head
Baptist Church, Saturday February 25, from 1-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral
service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 1 pm from North Head
Baptist Church with Ruth Fair-Parker officiating and Rev. David
Phillips assisting. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in the
spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grand Manan
Nursing Home Foundation or to the donor’s
choice.
