Antoine Daigle
1929-2016
RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – Antoine Daigle 87, of
Richibouctou-Village passed away peacefully at the Villa Providence in
Shediac on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Antoine was the son
of the late Edouard and late Melina Desroches (Daigle).
Before retiring, Antoine was a fisherman. He was an avid
volunteer and he loved spending time making replicas of old
ships. He was a member of the Richiboucto-Village Golden Age
Club and attended St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic in
Richibouctou-Village.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 64 years, Lucie
(Maillet) Daigle of Richibouctou-Village; two sisters, Alice Cormier
(late Alcide) of Rexton, Claudia Doucette (late Georges) of Halifax
and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters,
Doris, Flavie, Dorilla, Cecile and predeceased by one brother,
Aurele.
Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later
date. Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s
Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252).
