BOEHNKE, Emma (nee Klatt)
Died peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday November 12, 2016 in her 95th year.
Beloved wife of 46 years of the late Adolf Boehnke, who predeceased her on March 4, 1996.
Loving mother to Gudrun. Will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her dear friends, Olga Polziehn, Hedi Sommerfeld, Ingrid, Harald, Stephanie and Kristina Schmidt, and Robert Mycroft and family.
Survived by her brother Erich Klatt (Leni) in Germany. Predeceased by her parents, Friedrich and Amanda (nee Krampicz) Klatt, her brothers (Lebrecht, Albert, August, Emil, Otto and Adolph), and sisters (Marta and Alma). Will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada and Germany.
Special thanks and appreciation to members of Bethel Lutheran Church for their many years of love and support. Emma’s family will receive friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 47 Sheldon Avenue North, Kitchener. Funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Reception in the church hall following the service.
Interment at Woodland Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bethel Lutheran Church, Grand River Hospital Foundation or St. Mary’s Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
Although we are saddened by her death, we do not commit her to the finality of the grave, but rather to eternal life with her precious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
