Loyer, Conrad 1941 – 2016
The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the age of 75 years. Son of the late Louis and of the late Augusta (née Dorion) Loyer. Loving husband of Pauline (née Noël) Loyer of Sturgeon Falls. Cherished father of Lynne Fredette (Kevin) of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandson Gavin. Survived by his brothers, Yvon (Elizabeth) of B.C., Marcel (late Claudine) of Sturgeon Falls, Hector (Marlene) of Bracebridge and by his sisters, Yvonne Boulay (late Calixte) and Jacqueline Bois (late Roland) both of Sturgeon Falls and Pauline Frosberg (late Eric) of Bracebridge. Predeceased by his brothers, Maurice, Gerald, Victor and by his sisters, Thérèse and Gisèle. Conrad will be missed by many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Theoret Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 9 to 11 am. A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. A grave side service will take place at the Ste Mary’s Cemetery, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday at 1:30 pm. Special thanks to Dr. André Behamdouni and the Nursing Staff at the West Nipissing General Hospital who always made him smile and showed compassion to Conrad and his family. Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. (Cheques only).
