Obituary
Surrounded by family, Took Gee of Edmonton passed away peacefully at the age of 83. He is survived by his children Nyna (Mike), Yankui (Alvin), Kenda (Donna) and Keneen (Michelle), brother Pank and granddaughters Savanna and Abby. He was predeceased in 1986 by his wife Chan Sui Kiu.
Born in Toishan, China, Took immigrated to Edmonton and was best known in the community as the owner of Tooke’s Grocery. Took was a devoted husband, father and grampa and enjoyed his retirement years working on his amazing garden, travelling, and spending time with friends.
Visitation is on Friday, November 4 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral is on Saturday, November 5 at 1:00 p.m. Both will be at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home at 10011 114 Street, Edmonton. Funeral followed by Interment at Beechmount Cemetery.
