Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rita, at the age of 83 years. Rita leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Joe; 7 children, Sandi Chalmers, JoAnn Anderson (Ron), Bob (Trudy), Lori, Susie (Joe) Rotella, Gerry (Sandra), and Alyson (Kevin) Krzanstek; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Rita was predeceased by her mother, Margarita; father, William; stepfather, Johnny; and recently, son-in-law, Richard Chalmers.
Rita’s family and friends will forever remember her genuine kindness, selfless nature, fun-loving spirit, and bright smile. Special thank-you to Dr. Gee and the staff at CapitalCare McConnell Place West for their incredible care and compassion to mom over the past 6 years.
Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2016, at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert. Funeral Mass at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9830-148 Street, Edmonton.
