MARTIN, Ernest « Ernie » –
Peacefully at his residence in Peterborough, Ontario on October 5, 2016, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Michele Carter-Martin. Loving father to Chris Martin, Ernie Martin Jr. (Janet) and Terry Martin (Robin). Dear brother-in-law of Beverly Martin. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Christopher, Joshua, Chloe and Dallas. Predeceased by his first wife Donna Martin (nee McTavish), his son Wesley, and his brothers Don and Bob Martin. Ernie was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 46 years and will be missed by many friends in both Ontario and Florida. Visitation will be held on Friday October 14, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Nisbett Funeral Home, 600 Monaghan Road South, Peterborough, ON. (705-745-3211). Memorial Service in the Nisbett Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on October 14, 2016, followed by a reception.
