Nathan « Keir » Procter
Nathan « Keir » Procter, 82, of Moncton, surrounded
by his loving family, passed away peacefully within the comfort of his
home on Wednesday, October 5, 2016. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, he was
the son of the late Gerald and Cora (Douglas) Procter.
Keir was a retired CNR Machinist with over 34
years’ service. He attended Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church
and was a former member of the Aero Modellers Club. Keir
enjoyed flying and building model planes, carpentry and spending time
with his family.
Keir will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Judy (Matchett)
Procter of Moncton; sons, Gerry Procter (Rita) of Moncton and Nathan
Procter (Barb) of Porter’s Lake, NS; daughter, Angela Dawson
(Kent) of Moncton; grandchildren, Andrew, Madison, Jonathan, Jenny,
Kevin and Kyle; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In
addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first
wife, Mary Lou and sister, Joyce Nelson.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 12:30 to 1:45 pm.
A Service to celebrate and honor Keir’s life will be held at
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Paul
Pattison officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre
following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Keir’s memory to
Glad Tidings Missions would be appreciated by the family. Online
