Sythes, Isabel Diana (nee Clark)
After a long and full life, passed away peacefully at Greenway Retirement Village on Thursday, October, 6, 2016 at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband George and son Todd. Loving mother of Rhonda Gooderham (Rick) and Ross Sythes (Frances). Loved by her grandchildren Scott & Bryan Gooderham and Justin and Carly Sythes. Diana is also pre-deceased by her sister Barbara Smith and brother Lawrence Clark. She will be sadly missed by her brother in law Albert Smith, sister in law Margaret Gilpin, many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Diana was a long time Etobicoke resident who was actively involved in the Community for many years, including Montgomery Inn and the Etobicoke Historical Board. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Monday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Ward Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Philip’s Anglican Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sleeping Children around the World or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
