Joanne Hall (nee Cossette)
July 31, 1956 – September 28, 2016
Peacefully, with her family by her side, surrounded with love and music, Joanne passed away Wednesday, September 28 at the age of 60.
She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband Peter Hall; parents Celine and Maurice Cossette; sisters Yolande (Bob), Nicky (Doug) and brother Donald (Kim). She adored her niece Tessa and nephews Curtis, Dustin, and Derek. Her step children Rob (Jerilyn), Jen (Dave), Bryan (Rae) and four beautiful grandchildren McKenna, Joel, Bronwyn and Luther.
Born in Gravelbourg Saskatchewan and raised in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Joanne moved to Selkirk where she dedicated 26 years of work in the Deli at Marketplace Co-op. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and tending to her flower garden. Our Joanne was the Martha Stewart of the family with her sewing skills and had a great passion for baking, canning and making jelly. She was a loving and compassionate person with an infectious spirit and laugh. Gone too soon, our Joanne will be dearly missed by all who loved her and we will forever cherish the memories.
