Hazel Edna MacDonald (Hynes)
1942-2016
Peacefully at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre surrounded by her
family, on Sunday, May 29, 2016 of Hazel Edna MacDonald (Hynes) of
Charlottetown, age 74 years. Beloved wife of 56 years to Joe
MacDonald. Mother of Debbie Brideau (Harvey), Louis (Donna Praught),
David (Diane Gaudet), and Cathy Doyle (Trevor). Nanny to Mary, Beth,
Kent, Danielle, Jamie, Crystal, Madison, and Amy. Great-grandmother of
Andrew. Sister of Doreen McCarthy (Joe). Survived also by numerous
nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen Barrett,
Audrey Birt and brother Louis Hynes. Resting at Belvedere Funeral
until Wednesday at 9:45 am then to the Church of the Most Holy
Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 am. Interment in the Roman Catholic
Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9
pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Provincial
Palliative Care Centre or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital
Foundation.
