Sandra « Sandy » MacDonald (nee Younker)
1952-2016
On Saturday, August 13, 2016 Sandra suddenly slipped into the arms of
her saviour surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Blain
MacDonald, mom of Treena MacDonald, Chris (Leanne) MacDonald, Sara
(Al) MacLeod, and amazing Ma of Caleb, Tyler, Davis, Ella and
Kayleigh. Beloved sister of Dougie (Irene) Younker, Bobby (Debbie)
Younker, Kenneth « Herb » (Christine) Younker, Donna Abbott,
Roy (Marg) Younker, Victor (Rosemary) Younker, Gail (Lowell)
MacKenzie, Scott (Karen) Younker, Rick (Kim) Younker and Jack (Rhonda)
Dunn. Beloved sister-in-law of Jack (Shawna) MacDonald, Marsha Gaudet,
Scott (Anne) MacDonald and Tracey (Randy) Leard. Survived by her
numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved
very much. Predeceased by her parents Harry and Jean (Frizzell)
Younker of Southport, sister Cathy, parents-in-law Wilf
« Scottie » and Freda (Josey) MacDonald. She was a second
mother to many others. Sandy touched many lives and was deeply
involved in many mission projects and had a passion for helping others
with her boundless energy and willingness to help. She is greatly
missed and so dearly loved. Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home for
visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be
held at Calvary Church on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in
Sherwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Haiti
Childrens Fund.
