Donna Rae Dupuis
1942-2016
Surrounded by loved ones, Donna Rae Dupuis passed
away at The Moncton Hospital on September 12th, 2016 after a lengthy
illness. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Roy and
Betty Strang.
Donna faced her illness with courage, grace and dignity and
was an inspiration to friends and family. She will
be sadly missed by her daughters Karen Bettesworth, Burlington, ON and
Sheri Simmons (Derek) Woodbury, MN, grandsons Jackson and Teegan
Simmons, brother Roger Strang (Alexis) Moncton, sister Royanne Breau
(Gerry Moger), Cap Pele and niece Leeann Mariano (Michael), Ajax,
ON.
Donna’s ability to care for and connect with others was one
of her greatest gifts. She was generous and
giving to all. She was unfailingly
positive in life and always saw the good in
others. Donna loved
good conversation, puttering in her yard,
gardening, sappy movies and her home. She
always made Christmas special for her daughters and stuffed
the best stockings ever. She adored her grandchildren and
her brother Roger, with whom she had an especially close
bond. Donna was a wonderful friend to all
those she held dear, always ready to lend a hand or an
ear.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or
service as per Donna’s wishes. Arrangements have been entrusted to the
care of Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330
Whitepine Rd., Riverview E1B 0E4 (869-2007).
Our sincere gratitude to Donna’s dear friend Barb Morell for
her loving care and devotion during Donna’s illness. Sincere
thanks to Dr. Main Alqdah, Dr. Igoe and Dr. Pamela
Mansfield. Our eternal gratitude to Vital Aire, especially
Serge Belanger and Pattie Doiron; to Extra Mural especially Darlene
MacDonald, Kimberly Jonah and Kim Babineau and Caregiver Shelly Landry
for their compassionate care and dedication.
