Joan Parker (Chapman) MacInnis 1945-2016 It is with deep sadness that we say goodbye to our loving wife, mother, sister and Nannie, who died suddenly and without notice at home on Friday, July 15, 2016. Joan’s greatest joy in life was her children and she celebrated their success as her own. She and her husband, Bob spent many wonderful summers at their family cottage in Tidnish, NS and winters curling or travelling. She enjoyed vacationing with her sisters whether it be to warmer climes or curling events. In recent years she and Bob, loved to visit their children as they built their careers in Vancouver, Smithers, Toronto, Halifax and New York. She will be dearly missed and forever in the hearts of her husband Bob, sons: Trevor (Corynne), Robbie, Bradley (Aisha), grandchildren; Charlie and Bradley, sisters: Jackie Gallagher and Kathy Chapman, brother, Paul Chapman (Michele), brother-in-law, Keith (Lois), as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; Jack and Lilian (Atkinson) Chapman. The family extends an invitation to join them at Cobb’s Funeral Home, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (506-869-2007), on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM to celebrate Joan’s life, with a time to share stories and memories at 7:30 PM.
