Charles A. « Gus » Roussel 1926-2015 Charles Augustin « Gus » Roussel, of Moncton, NB; passed away at the Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital, on Monday, September 28, 2015 at the age of 89 years. Born in Bathurst, NB he was the son of the late Lazare and Marie Jane (Robichaud) Roussel. Charles was retired after many years as a Conductor with the Canadian National Railways. He was survived by his wife H. Yvonne (Robichaud) of Moncton; sisters, Lorraine Boudreau (late Bernie) of Fredericton, Tessie Harrison of London, ON; two brothers, Alfred Roussel (late Sylvia) of Saint-Quentin, NB, Harvey Roussel (Laurette) of Bathurst, NB; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Alice Lavigne, Rita Leger, Albertine Bourque and Geraldine Arsenault; brother Omer Roussel. The funeral mass will be held at L’Assomption Cathedral, Moncton on Tuesday, July 26th at 11:00am with Father Dallaire. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in Charles’ memory made to the memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
