Shirley Ann Brehaut (Harris) 1935-2016 Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on February 10, 2016 the passing of Shirley Brehaut age 80, devoted wife of 53 years to Lorin Brehaut. Born November 23, 1935 in Murray Harbour, she was the daughter of the late James and Gladys Harris. Shirley is survived by her loving children, Lynn Stewart (John Slavin), James Stewart, Paula (Ted) MacLean, Lori (Stephen) Chapman, Lorin Brehaut (Sandra Strain), Scott Brehaut; beloved grandchildren, Danny, Sara, Shirley Stewart, Rachael, Leah, Stewart MacLean, Ryan, Whitney, Logan, Chloe Chapman, Claire Stewart, Sydney, Scott, Isabella Brehaut; 1 great grandchild Ellowyn; a large circle of extended family and friends. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Arnett Stewart; 2 sisters, Joan Bell and Valda Hume; 2 grandsons, David and Eric Stewart. Shirley will also be lovingly remembered by daughters-in-law; Dawn Stewart and Dale Brehaut, and close family acquaintances and special friends. Donations to the Murray Harbour Cemetery or Charity of Choice would be appreciated. Following with Shirley’s wishes a public visitation will not take place. A grave side service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Murray Harbour Cemetery, all is welcome to attend.
