States, Charles Welford February 29, 1932 – November 12, 2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Welford States, who passed away peacefully with his son and daughter by his side. A native of Hants County Nova, Scotia and a long time employee of Stelco Steel in Montreal. He will be greatly missed by his wife June States (née Moore), his son Jim (Megan) and daughters Tracey (Michael), Diane (the late Rick), Joanne (Craig) and Sandy (Brian), his twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Bobby, Jack Phyllis, Gale, Sandra, David, Barbra, Lorraine, Freddy and Chester. We are most grateful to the staff of the CHSLD Bayview for having provided a loving and caring home for him for the past year. A celebration of his life will be held at la brasserie La Résidence, 4705 St. John Blvd., Pierrefonds, on Sunday November 16 from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Alzheimer Society Montreal would be appreciated.
