Smith, Irene Evelyn (née Helleur) Peacefully at Vigi Santé DDO on Sunday, July 27, 2015, at the age of 90, Irene Evelyn Helleur Smith, died after a well-lived life. Cherished wife of the late Bert Smith, she will be remembered lovingly by her sons Rev. Ian Smith (Silvia Fiorita), Robert “Darcey” Nichols, son-in-law Rev. Don Anderson, grandchildren Peter (Vesna) & David Anderson, Joanna (Steve Rennie), Rebecca & Geoffrey Smith (Victoria), great-grandchildren Senja & Jonathan Anderson and Caleb Rennie, and her devoted sister Dorothy Helleur. She was predeceased by her beloved parents Stanley and Lillian Helleur, her brother Stan, and her loving daughter Lynne Anderson. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life at Ste-Geneviève United Church, 4697 St. John’s Blvd, Dollard-des-Ormeaux on Friday, August 21. Visitation at the church from 12 Noon to 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 1:00 p.m., and then burial at Rideau Memorial Gardens on Sources Blvd. Reception to follow back at the church.
