WAN – Theresa Shuk-Man (nee Yim ) passed away peacefully in God’s embrace on May 7, 2016, at the age of 95, predeceased by her husband Wai-Yin WAN. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Jenny (Ichu); her grandchildren Chilwin (Lisa), Winsome (Michael), Wyatt and Aria, and her great-grandchildren Levi, Hannah, Charlotte, Audrey, River, Matthew, Kai, Anna and Catherine. She touched many lives as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; teaching in the public and Catholic schools and serving in the auxiliary civil-aid service in Hong Kong; and after retirement in Vancouver, as secretary and treasurer for many Chinese seniors’ associations. She was a member of the Legion of Mary at St. Francis Xavier Church, Vancouver. Being appreciative of others and wishing to make others happy was her trademark. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Church, Vancouver, by Father Rob Allore, SJ and Father Joseph Ly. Interment was at the Garden of Gethsamane, Surrey, B.C. with a reception in Vancouver. Condolences maybe offered to the family at www.kearneyfs.com
