S. Gladys Phillips 1928-2016 The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, PEI on Monday, June 6, 2016 of S. Gladys Phillips (Ward) in her 89th year surrounded by her loving family and friends. Mother to George, Marilyn, Barb and Judy (deceased). Sister of Georgie Rodd. Sister-in-law of A. Mervyn Phillips (Elizabeth), Robert Dalziel, Christine Allan and Anna Hughes Meston. Survived by nieces and nephews Connie Rodd O’Brien (Eoin), Janice Rodd MacLeod (Rick, deceased), Brian Rodd (Nancy), Susan Dalziel, Anne Dalziel Singer (Rick), Stephen Dalziel (Esta), Don Phillips (Peggy), Heather Praught (Mike), Deborah Lynn Rodgers (Kent), Rhonda Allan, Leanne Thomas (Tim), David Allan (Louise), Anne Louise (Meston) Chaisson and Allan Meston (Mary). Predeceased by her husband G. Herbert Phillips, parents William and Jemina (Godkin) Ward, parents-in-law Albert and Mary (Jones) Phillips, sister Pauline Dalziel, sister-in-law Evelyn Phillips, brothers-in-law Arthur Rodd, John Allan and Ronald Meston and niece Mary Rodd Silvagio Burns (Don). There will be no visiting hours or funeral service by request. A Celebration of Life will be held for Gladys at a date to be determined in July.
