JONES, Mr. Paul Robert – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul in his 77th year on Monday, December 7th, 2015 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a courageous battle with esophagus and liver cancer. Beloved husband of Gloria « Jean » (nee McCall) for 57 years. Loving father of 3 sons – Glenn (Deb), Terry (Chris) and Kirk (Patti). Proud grandfather of Willie (Kate), Dustin (Patricia), Robin, Andrea (Troy), Justin (Cait), Jesse (Jessica), Jeanna, Sarah, Julia (Brent) and Josh (Melyssa). Great-grandpa of 8 and great, great grandpa of 1. Survived by his sisters Leona (late Frank) Rochetta and Carole (Ab) Heffernan. Brother-in-law of Barb (Art) Barker, Ken (Shirley) McCall, Loreen (Pete) Arcand, Gary (Glenna) McCall and the late John (Marie) McCall. Paul will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his parents Leo & Grace Jones. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. at NISBETT FUNERAL HOME, 600 Monaghan Road South, Peterborough, 705-745-3211. Interment Rosemount Memorial Gardens on Monday, December 14th, 2015 at 1 p.m. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Special thanks to Dr. Doug Turner and Dr. Bill Hughes who gave him an extra 26 years after his heart attack.
