SEARY, Elizabeth Cordella Passed away on Saturday May 23rd, 2015 at Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital. Liz was born in Cape Breton Nova Scotia on Jan 16, 1942. She was predeceased by her loving husband Dennis Sydney Seary. Liz fought the brave battle for 30 years against Multiple Sclerosis. She never complained but just kept going ! She had a great love for food and music ! She will be greatly missed by her loving Children: Lisa Seary, Dennis Seary, Laurie (Gary) Smith and Gina Seary. She will also be missed by her beautiful and loving grandchildren Natalie Hercia (fiancé Steve Capallano) and Stephen Hercia as well as by brother – Charles (Marilyn) Mackillop, sister – Linda Cameron and many many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was cared for by all of the excellent staff at Extendicare in Oshawa. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the MS. Society. Also gently used music devices for the patients at Extendicare would be greatly appreciated (there will be a box for the devices at Liz’s celebration of Life) or Children’s books to a library of your choice. Please feel welcome to join us in Celebration of Mom’s life on Saturday May 30th at the Tartan Tavern, 555 Rossland Road East, Rossland Plaza, Oshawa. There will be a service at approx. 2 pm, some snacks will be served, cash bar, live music from 3 – 6.
