It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Sharon. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre at the age of 60 with her husband, son and best friend Anita by her side. She was predeceased by her mother Bernice Wetsch; father Maurice Wetsch; and father-in-law Adolf Seitz. Sharon is survived by her husband of 35 years Don; son Jeffrey; brother Lyle (Kara) Wetsch; mother-in-law Rose Seitz; sisters-in-law Jerry (Lynn) Fox and Darlene (Ron) Bronsch; her loving cat Buddy; as well as grateful friends and numerous nieces and nephews. After being diagnosed with cancer and out lasting milestone after milestone, it was time to be set free from the suffering. Sharon had numerous joys in her life. Cats, cross-stitching/crafts, bus tours with family/friends and reading were just a few. She also enjoyed her career of over 30 years at the Leader Post. A CELEBRATION OF SHARON’S LIFE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, July 17, at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations in memory of Sharon may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
