LANG BERTHA MAE LANG beloved wife of the late Myron Lang of Pincher Creek passed away at the Vista Village on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 71 years. Bertha is survived by her children; son, Keith (Terry) and their children Krista, Shawn, Kayla (Robert) Furlotte of Pincher Creek; son Keven (Rose) and their children Megann and Kelby of Pincher Creek; son Berry (Dana) of Calgary; Aunt Hazel Truitt; brother Robert Tourond Jr. and wife Phillis as well as numerous nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Myron; parents Bob and Hazel Tourond; mother-in-law Dorothy and father-in-law Ray Lang. Bertha was born in the Pincher Creek Hospital on November 29, 1939 and grew up in the Crowsnest Pass. On May 16, 1959 she married Myron Keith Lang and moved to the farm by Beauvis Lake, where they raised Robert Keith, Keven Boyd and Berry Kim. After the boys were in school Bertha worked at the Co-Op, the Treasury Branch and Boytincks. Many hours were spent at hockey rinks watching her boys and then her grandchildren. She would also be found at Rodeos watching Keven and her brother Bob roping. For entertainment Bertha could be found at dances and many card parties even at her parents’ house listening to old time country music. Berthas last years were hard, losing several loved ones and fighting cancer. Surrounded by her family Bertha peacefully moved to a different stage of her time. A Memorial Service was held at 1 P.M., on Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Pincher Creek United Church, with Reverend Brent Woodard, Officiating.
