Obituary On May 15th, 2015, Gaylene (Gabby) Doncaster passed away into glorious heaven to be with her sovereign Lord at the age of 58 years. Gabby was born and raised in Swan River, Manitoba. She was a member of Union 52 for the City of Edmonton Civic Union, and was employed with the City of Edmonton as a customer service representative for the drainage department for 37 years. Gabby will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 32 years, Keith Doncaster; sister, Bev Terry of Edmonton; brothers, Wesley (Carole) Bilowus, Kelowna, BC and Gerald Bilowus, SK; sister-in-law, Joan Doncaster, Amherst, NS and Nancy (Larry) Trenholm, Windsor, NS; brother, Paul (Cathy) Canning, Springhill, NS; several nieces and nephews; as well as extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her father and mother, Thomas Bilowus and Stella Jean Weslowski Bilowus; and an infant in 1984. A Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Connelly-McKinley Downtown Funeral Home, 10011 114 Street NW, Edmonton. A Funeral Service will be held by Rev. G. Feller at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Northwest Pentecostal Assembly, 9949 – 169 Avenue NW, Edmonton. A joint Funeral Service will be held at the A.H. Brown Funeral Home for family members in Springhill, Nova Scotia under Rev. Bert Collins. Interment will follow at Northern Lights Cemetery, 15203 Campbell Rd NW, Edmonton. The Family wishes to thank the Staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the Edmonton General Hospital for the excellent care received.
