Obituary It is with great sadness the family of Fred Hodgson announces his passing on December 15th, 2013. He was a 54-year member of Local #1 Bricklayer’s Union, and an 11-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Fred is survived by loving wife Dorothy; children, Wayne Hodgson (Mona), Bradford Raison (Colleen) and Janice Harrington; five grandchildren, Ben Harrington, Shannon, Erinn, Meagan and Ross Raison; sister Wilma Turkington (Doug); brothers, Vital, Donald (Maggie) and Henry (Nancy); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation will take place and Fred’s remains will be placed with his parents Tobie and Helen Hodgson. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 23 at St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert. Following the service, there will be refreshments in the church basement. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the University of Alberta Hospital Lung Transplant Program, Walter MacKenzie Health Sciences Centre, 8840-112 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 2B7. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Dale Lien and Dr. Justin Weinkauf for their years of caring for Fred.
