With great sadness and fond memories, our family announces the sudden passing of Willard Harry Price, husband of Karen Price of Fredericton, NB, on Thursday, January 29, 2025 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 28, 1949 in Priceville, NB, he was the son of the late Harry and Ruby Price. Willard was a licensed mechanic. He enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays, Montreal Canadiens and NASCAR. Willard will be remembered for his dry sense of humour, his kindness, the definition of the strong silent type. He was the perfect family man and loved his family very much.
In addition to his loving wife of 54 years, Willard is survived by his daughter, Stacey Munn (Mark) of Killarney Road; sister, Etta Parker of Fredericton; brother, Vimmy Price (Marilyn) of Priceville.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson, Ryan Munn; sisters, Joyce Delong, Shirley Price, Lorraine Logan.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the medical professionals that took care of Willard during his illness.
Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home’s Miramichi Valley Chapel. Visitation will take place at McNamee Pentecostal Assembly on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1-2 pm. A Funeral Service will follow immediately at 2 pm with Pastor Erdie Price officiating. A reception will follow at the Orange Lodge. Interment will be in McNamee Pentecostal Cemetery, Porter Cove at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Association.
