After a remarkable life of 87 years, it is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Teresa Pace on February 21, 2025. Teresa departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, while listening to the inspiring words of her most cherished saint, Padre Pio. Teresa was a pillar of strength, a beacon of hard work and dedication, whose life was a testament of love, faith and family.
Teresa leaves behind a legacy of kindness and inspiration. She was the beloved wife of the late Rocco for 60 years, and their marriage was the foundation of a beautiful family. Teresa was an incredible mother to Guy (Caroline), Vincent (Argenite), Joseph (Barbara), Gina (Lou) and Angela (Rocco). Her children will carry forward her spirit of courage, perseverance and faith. Teresa was a proud Nonna and teacher of traditions and will be profoundly missed by her grandchildren Stefanie (Curtis), Andrew, Michael, Juliana, David, Jonathan, Ava, Daniel and Rafael.
Teresa is survived by her sisters Mary (Nicola), Nicla (Len) and sister-in-law Clara. She rejoins in eternal life with her parents Vincenzo and Luigia and her brothers Pasquale and Franco.
Teresa will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and devoted life-long friends.
Teresa touched our lives with her generosity, humour, giving nature and her profound faith in God. She was a devoted Catholic who loved praying the rosary, reading the Bible, and listening to the daily mass on Radio Maria. Teresa cherished the regular home visits made by her dedicated priest, Padre Bruno.
Teresa’s memory will live on eternally in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her. Her legacy will continue to inspire us and uplift us all.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to her doctors, nurses and PSWs who provided Teresa with exceptional loving care.
