With heavy hearts, we
announce the peaceful passing of Kevin Peter Lloyd, age 62, at home on
Friday, January 10, 2025.
Born in Kentville on
February 26, 1962, Kevin was the beloved son of the late Grant Lloyd.
He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Lloyd, Cambridge; his
brother, Merrill Lloyd, and his nephew, Stephen Lloyd.
Kevin had a deep love
for nature, and was an avid fisherman, finding peace in the water. He
had a special fondness for animals, particularly cats, dogs, and his
beloved pet fish, all of whom brought him joy and companionship
throughout his life.
Kevin spent over 15
years working in Vancouver before returning to Nova Scotia, where he
lived in Berwick and eventually settled in Cannan.
Cremation has taken
place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. In lieu of
flowers, donations can be made to a local animal charity of your
choice, reflecting his love for animals. Arrangements have been
entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
A life
well-lived, Kevin will be forever missed but never
forgotten.
