It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of John at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton surrounded by his loving family on Monday January 20, 2025. John Kelly, of Scotland, in his 74th year. Reunited with his soulmate, Jeannine Roberta Dallaire and their dog Jake. Cherished & devoted father of Johnny (Jessica) and Laura-Lee (Darryl). Loving & caring Papa of Amia Lee (Troy), Jayden, Colton and Wyatt. Special brother of Susan (Rowland) Hill, Michael, Harold and Kristibeth Kelly. Survived by his step-mother Anne Kelly. Predeceased by his parents Robert (Bob) Kelly & Lois Demour, and siblings Peter Demour, Roberta Levar, Keith, Kevin, Rhonda, Patrick and Kim Kelly. John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
John was a proud heavy equipment operator for the Union of Operating Engineers Local 793 for over 50 years on gas pipelines alongside many coworkers.
Family and friends are welcome to the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King Street, Burford on Friday from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Saturday January 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Sault Ste.
