It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of, Fernande Leblanc, wife of the late Steve Chatham, of Bouctouche, N.B. on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the age of 78 years at her home surrounded by her family.
Born in Bouctouche, NB, she was the daughter of the late Aquilla Leblanc and the late Yvonne (Cormier) Leblanc.
Fernande will be sadly missed by her daughter Désirée Tremblay, of Otter Lake, Québec; her sisters: Rose-Marie Robichaud, of Shediac, Denise Leblanc and Raymonde Allain (Gilles), both of Bouctouche, as well as her grandchildren: Zacharie, Emily and Jérémie.
Fernande was a hard working and kind-hearted person.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her two brothers : Jean-Paul and Hervé.
The funeral service will be private and by invitation only.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Bouctouche Food Bank.
