Passed away peacefully in his sleep at home at the age of 84. Dear husband, best friend, love of his life Mary Anne for over 65 years. Best Dad in the whole wide world of Mary Ann (Marty), Donna (Rene), late Gord (Bernadette), Judy (Joe), Brad (Louise) and Bridget (Joe). Beloved “Peeka” to 27 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of late Ron (Sheila) and late Dorothy. Gord will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Gord retired from General Motors where he was known as “Praise the Lord Gord”. Gord had a great sense of humour that will be missed by all. He was strong in his faith, having an active role in the church, K of C, and prayer groups. Gord would play guitar and sing and dance all the time. Gord would often say he had a great life.
Visitation at Families First, 2130 Front Rd., LaSalle on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 6-9pm. Visiting continues on Wednesday at 12pm until time of Mass at 1 pm at Sacred Heart Church (219 Sacred Heart Dr. LaSalle). Interment to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
