George passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025, at 86 years of age. Reunited with his late wife Pat (2021). Cherished father of Karen, Kevin and Rachel (Patrick). Loving grandpa of Jamie, Nicholas, Lorelle, Santino and great-grandfather of Kara, Chloe, Alexis, Alivia, Hunter and Theo. Pre-deceased by his mother Kathleen, father Leonard and sister, Theresa.
George and Pat made Kincardine their home for over 35 years after emigrating from England for George to work for Ontario Hydro/Bruce Power as a Nuclear Operator. They made many long-lasting friendships in Kincardine and had many fond memories of their time there. In 2008, George and Pat relocated to Amherstburg, ON to be closer to family.
George loved music, travel, reading and was an avid walker. He thoroughly enjoyed time with family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. If you desire, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
