Obituary
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Dulcie Reid, of Dildo, residing at Shag Rock Manor, Whiteway.
Predeceased by her husband Donald Reid; parents Malcolm and Rachel Cooper; parents-in-law Reuben and Susie Reid; brother Levi Sooley; infant sister Shirley; brothers-in-law Edward George, Frank Gosse, Gower Reid, Andrew Reid, Winston Smith, Fred Newell and Ellis Jackson; and sisters-in-law Edna Sooley, Ada Reid, Daisy Smith and Patricia Reid.
Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are her daughter Darlene; sons Danny (Stephanie) and Dwayne (Sharon); precious grandchildren Shane (Jayne), Steven (Leslie), Samantha (Shane) and Mason; 3 great-grandchildren Landyn, Rylan and Brooklyn, and their mom Robyn; brother Selby (Marjorie); sisters Martha Gosse and Hazel George; brothers and sisters-in-law Hazel Reid, Gladys Jackson, Inez Newell, Jim Reid (Effie) and Larry Reid (Ruby); as well as a large number of other relatives and friends.
Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, NL, on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
A celebration of Dulcie’s life will be held from Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo, on February 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Coffee & comforting to follow the celebration of life at Hazel’s house in New Harbour.
As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Salvation Army TBS Corps in Dildo.
