Denice Gaynell (Clendenning) Anderson passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Bobby’s Hospice with her family by her side. Denice was born in Woodstock, NB on January 15, 1949, the daughter of the Late Dennis and Anna (Billing’s) Clendenning.
She lived in Hartland and Worked at McCain’s until meeting the love of her life, David. They married in 1978 and began their life together in Martinon NB. Together they raised their five Children.
Being a stay-at-home mom Denice was able to help other families in the community by babysitting their children while raising her own. As David and Denice’s children grew and started their own families she enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren. She also took a position with the Workers Compensation Board and retired in 2015.
In her spare time, she had a talent for creativity. It brought her joy to share her homemade creations with loved ones.
Denice is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, David; their children, Scott Anderson (Krista), Darci-Anna Thibodeau (Danny), Corey Thibodeau, Steven Anderson (Crystal), and Reggie Anderson; 12 Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; siblings Debbie Rideout (Wayne), Dalton Clendenning (Sherry) and Donald Clendenning (Irene); many nieces and nephews; dear friend and sister-in-law Ardith who was married to Denice’s Late Brother Gaynard.
Along with her brother, Denice was also predeceased by both parents and her sister Joanne.
As requested, there will be no funeral or visitation, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Denice made to Bobby’s Hospice are greatly appreciated.
The family would like to take this opportunity to give special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, Staff, and Volunteers at Bobby’s Hospice as well as her care team at the Saint John Regional Hospital for the heartfelt kindness and compassion shown to Denice and her family.
