January 4, 1955 – February 22, 2025
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Daniel.
Danny leaves behind and will be greatly missed by his loving partner of 23 years Ruth Langlais and his children Christine and Adam, and their mother Angela. Also greatly missed by his granddaughter Lillian, his stepchildren Sam (Lee Ann), Russell, Emily and Molly.
Danny will also be missed by his sisters Linda (Alex), Tammy (Clarence), his brothers, Murray (Anne), Gordon (Anne) and his many nieces and nephews.
He now joins his predeceased parents Marvin and Mabel, his brother Gary and step grandson James.
A favourite person to many, may we all find comfort in memories and funny stories involving Danny’s wit, charm and humour. We remember his love for animals, his passion for song and guitar. Of course we cannot forget his craze for vehicles, having had so many cars and trucks in his life. After 40 plus years driving truck for Overland. Danny ejoyed spending time with family, playing cards, boating, bird watching, fishing and watching hockey.
Respecting Danny’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service. In Lieu of flowers, a donation to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice Care would be so appreciated. They provided such kind, thoughtful and compassionate care to Danny and our family beyond anything we could have asked for.
