Our family is heartbroken to announce of our beloved Cheryl Shebagabow
passing on October 28th , 2025 at St. Joseph’s hospital Thunder Bay, with
her loved ones by her side.
Cheryl was born May 8th , 1988 to her parents Serena Shebagabow and
Ronald Jr. Towegishig. She loved dancing, singing and drawing. Cheryl
said to always remember her by the love she had for Batman & the 90’s
tech dance music. She cherished life, her love for her niece and nephews,
she was also known for her great sense of humour. She had a strong belief
in our Savior Jesus Christ.
Cheryl will be greatly missed by her parents Serena Shebagabow, Ronald
Jr. Towegishig (Faye), Winston, Grandparents Sarah Towegishig (Jerry),
her sisters Shauna (Jeremiah), Kaitlyn, her brothers Arnold (Bailey), Rainy
Sr (Mariah), her nephews Carter, Murphy, Lewis, Lawrence, Ryden, Tron
Jr, Levi, Marcus, Rainy Jr, Gabriel and her nieces Keira, Sunshine, and her
little best friend Meila and also by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Also, by her predeceased beloved Grandparents Dorothy and Ronald Sr
Towegishig, Arnold Sr. LaBelle, Her Great Grand Parents Peter Sr and
Christine Shebagabow, Andy Beaudin, Cheryl’s Great uncles Arthur and
Jerry Shebagabow, Great Aunties Jocelyn, Anne, Mable, uncles Kevin,
Greg, Aunt Darlene, her cousins Raymond Sr, Preston.
The Family would like to thank the nursing staff from both THRSC and St.
Joseph’s Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Everest Funeral Chapel, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
