Surrounded by his
loving family, Brian Dymond passed away on June 10th, 2025,
at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was
75. Born in Fredericton, NB, on 15 March, 1950, he was a son
of the late Charles and Florence (Howe)
Dymond.
Brian served in the
Canadian Armed Forces for 35 years with the Royal Canadian Dragoons
(Armored). He loved spending time with his family, playing
yard games in the summer. He also enjoyed playing cards, gardening,
playing guitar, shopping on Amazon and hosting family
gatherings.
Brian will be deeply
missed by his wife of 48 years; Soili, their daughters,
Johann (David Mitchell) and Cathy (Robbie Powell), grandchildren
Silka, Olivia, Robbie Jr. and Liam, brothers and sister; Robert (June
Lagarde), Donna (Robbie Brady) and Richard (Brenda King), foster
sister Sheila Nash, foster brother Mark Molyneuw as well as multiple
nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Besides his parents he
was predeceased by brothers, Winston, Greg and
Terry.
A funeral Mass will be
held on Saturday June 14th, 2025, at 2 PM from St. Peters Anglican
Church, (2365 Woodstock Road, Fredericton) with Canon Dr. Ross Hebb
officiating. Interment to follow in the adjoining cemetery with a
celebration of life held afterwards at the family
home.
For those who wish,
donations in Brian’s memory in lieu of flowers may be made to the
Diabetes Association or the NB Heart and Stroke
Foundation.
Funeral Arrangements
have been entrusted to Bishop’s Funeral Home.
