Betty Ann Tanner
1943-2025
Betty Ann Tanner, age 82, of Clearland, passed away peacefully with
family at her side.
Betty was born on February 8th 1943 to Milton and Ruth (Whynacht)
Joudrey along with her twin sister, Blossom.
Betty married Vernon Ora Tanner and moved to Clearland where she built
her life as a wife and mother to her four children, Delbert, Theresa,
Rose and Derek. Betty lost Vernon on April 18, 2001.
Betty had an artistic quality where she started sewing and selling to
craft shows for many years.
At age 73 Betty was diagnosed with cancer. After a long and courageous
battle Betty left her family and friends to be with her Angels on
March 9, 2025.
Betty was a grandmother to Christopher, Adam, Brendon, Justin and
Holly. Great grandmother to Nicholas and Leah. Aunt to many nieces
and nephews. She had many friends who she held dear to her.
Betty’s family would like to thank the Dr’s and many nurses at
South Shore Regional Hospital Emergency Department who made this
journey peaceful.
Betty request was to have no funeral service. In memory of Betty
give your loved ones a hug.
