The family announces with great sorrow her passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday, February 28, 2025 at the age of 93 years. Cherished wife of the late Lucien Larocque (1990). Dear mother of Sue Dolan (Gary) and Nicole Berini (Jean-Paul). Cherished grandmother of Melanie and Christine (Jessica Gosselin). Dear sister of Gilberte Theriault. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Alice is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Rosina Brazeau and her siblings Lucien, Domina, Maurice, Albert, Rene, Ernest, Roland and Lucienne.
Alice was a giving person, always helping those who needed it most. She also volunteered at the Timmins and District Hospital’s gift shop with her dear friend Denise for many years. She had a great sense of humour, loved to play cards and had an eye for creating beautiful crafts; meticulously placing everything just right. Above all, Alice loved her family and her grandkids were especially important to her. She also had very special friends she loved dearly.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 12 noon from the chapel of Miron-Wilson Funeral Home. A reception will follow in the Miron-Wilson Reception Lounge. Remembrance donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 11am to 12 noon at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
