It is with heavy hearts we announce Bill’s passing on July 7, 2024 at 12:45 am, at the age of 95, in the arms of his loving family.
He will be dearly missed by his daughters Alexandra Stiller-Moldovan and Cassandra Stiller-Moldovan (Steve Teal) and their mother Gabriele Stiller, and his sons Clifford Moldovan and Michael Moldovan and their late mother Helen (nee Birau) Moldovan. Proud Grandpa of Annabelle Teal and Jamie Moldovan. Dear brother of Ken (Kay) Moldovan and longtime partner of Elizabeth Vollmer. Predeceased by siblings, Mary, Laura, Eileen, Jim and Milly. Special uncle of Linnett Moldovan. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill was a proud founding member of St. George’s Romanian Orthodox Church. He retired after 37 years of service from Chrysler. Bill was a dedicated member of the Great Western Lodge #47, an active member of the 33rd degree Scottish Rite and also a noble of the Mocha Shriners.
Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada.
Visitation will be held at Families First Funeral Home in South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave.) on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. Masonic Service under the auspices of Great Western Lodge #47 on Friday at 7 pm. Visiting will continue on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
