Peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, London, Walter passed away in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Forrest (2017). Dear father of Drs. Jo-Ann Bice and husband Steve Zawacky of Pittsburgh, Reverend Nancy Clarke and husband Archdeacon Bill Clarke of Kingston, and Mary Forrest of London. Also loved by his grandsons Jeffrey Bice (wife Casey) of Annapolis, Christopher Bice (partner Kelly Reddington) of Tampa, Matthew Clarke (wife Shannon) of Kingston and Daniel Clarke of Kingston. Great-grandfather of Melody Clarke. Will also be missed by his former son-in-law, Kevin Bice and dearest friends Margo and James Ross. Predeceased by his parents Earl and Josephine Forrest and his sister Colleen MacDonald. A special thank you to Dr. C. Anaedu and the staff at St. Mary’s – third floor for their care and compassion. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 from 11:30 am-12:40 pm at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. For those not able to attend, the service will be livestreamed on the AMG Funeral Home YouTube channel. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wesley-Knox United Church, 91 Askin Street, London, ON N6C 1E7 would be greatly appreciated.
