Hynes: Wallace «Joe» Joseph
Joe Hynes passed away peacefully, holding his daughter’s hand, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at 9:05am on April 5, 2024 at the age of 77.
Born in St. Judes, Newfoundland, Joe was the son of Bernard and Corsini (née Alexander) Hynes.
Beloved husband of Sharon Hynes (nee Perry) for 39 years.
He will be forever missed by his only daughter Kimberley Hynes (Shane Drudge) and three grandsons Ashton, James, and Jayden. Fur grandfather to Angel, Mittens, Shadow, Messiah.
Joe will be missed by his siblings Clarence (Nadalca), Noreen, Hubert (Ursula), Eric (Marjorie), Melita (Junior), Calvin (Allana), and Sister-in-law Ann.
Predeceased by his siblings Matt, Lester, Geraldine, Delia, and Lizzy.
As per Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place, he will be returned to his hometown in St. Judes, Newfoundland.
Donations made in memory of Wallace to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
