Passed away peacefully at Tracey House, Severn on Friday August 9th, 2024, at the age of 91. Born in Mount Denis, York County Ontario predeceased by her parents the late William and Lily Nichols. Beloved wife of the late John McLeod. Loving mother of Irene Draper, Donna Grigg (late Wally), June Lemay (Larry Tattersall), Bill McLeod (Karen), Jim McLeod (Sue), Ray McLeod, and Linda Wheeler (Burton Gamble). Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Dear sister of June Doner (late John). Vera will be dearly missed by family and friends. Vera’s family wish to extend a sincere thank you to Darrell and Paulette at Tracey House for many years of care also a very special thank you to Vera’s granddaughters Ashley and April for their round the clock compassionate care. Cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
