Obituary
Stoddart, Velma Marguerite – 100, Roseway Manor, formerly of Clark’s Harbour, passed away on March 29, 2024 at Roseway Manor. Born in Clark’s Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Willamae (Symonds) Lowe. Velma loved her weekly puzzles and game shows. She enjoyed drives to antique shops and Tim Hortons drive thru on the way home. Velma saw many things in her 100 years here and to the last she could remember most all of them. Her memory was important to her. Velma is survived by her son, Steven (Linda) Stoddart; grandchildren, Becky (Doug) Atwood, Brad (Holly) Stoddart, Barbara (Philip) d’Entremont and Steve Stoddart; great-grandchildren, Micayla (Logan) Cottreau, Carissa d’Entremont, Aiden d’Entremont, Alexandra Stoddart, Taylor Stoddart and Isaac Stoddart. Besides her parents, Velma was predeceased by her husband, Waldo Stoddart; son, William Stoddart; sister, Bonita; brothers, Hubert and John. A special thank you to the dedicated staff at Roseway Manor for the care they provided mom. Arrangements are under the care of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A family graveside service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Roseway Manor, Oakvale Cemetery or charity of choice.
